Research

Dr. Cox is a researcher interested in collaborating with other researchers and professionals concerning Thanatology based projects, discussions, death cafes, and Entheogenic medicine. His doctoral research included exploring the experiences of people faced with life-threatening illness and how they come to terms with their diagnosis. His current research interests include any aspects of the human experience, death and dying, plant medicine,  and end-of-life care including psychedelic-assisted therapies for people with a terminal illness diagnosis.
